Embracing Fear

Many people assume that we're not afraid of heights, my favorite reply is that we have a healthy respect for them.

Fear is an important tool, it's what makes you double and triple check your equipment, tie-in points and maneuvers. Lack of fear leads to complacency which leads to accidents, and accidents in this industry can easily lead to serious injury or death.
