Pesky Peckers

The iconic sound of a woodpecker hard at work is considered by many as a pleasing background noise while hiking through the woods. Unfortunately, for many other people, it signifies damage being done to their trees, or worse, their house.

There are many types of deterrents available that do no harm to the birds. These include; aluminum foil strips or other reflective material, windsocks, plastic owls and sound deterrents.
