Planting A Tree, Simple As Can Be?

Just dig a hole and plop it in, right? There's actually a little more to it than that.


Giving a tree the right start is essential and it needs to be handled very carefully. One of the most common problems we see is improper planting depth, too deep or too shallow can be very detrimental. It is also important to apply soil amendments, tease the roots out, mind the soil type of the site, inspect for any girdling roots, perform a little pruning...and water water water!
